Reasons for trip

Well presented and equipped lodges. Plenty of areas for walking, and sitting (indoors and out) to watch the abundant wildlife.

This time of year very geared up for Christmas obviously and many things aimed at young families. Lovely to watch the faces of the youngsters at Santa’s workshop or taking a horse-drawn carriage/ pony ride to visit him.

Ideal for those wanting to travel with extended family to have a pre Christmas treat, but be warned most activities and sports are fairly expensive so set yourselves a realistic limit to what you wish to spend or participate in.

Well stocked store for those ‘forgotten items’ but premium prices, so take as much as you can with you.

Staff helpful and plentiful. Medical centre on site if needed.
