Arrived in Innsbruck from Heathrow, surrounded by mountains and gorgeous views. A very quick transfer to Hotel Krystal and made very welcome. Straight into eating great food (5 courses) and introduction to leaders and rest of the group, a good mixture of ages. The great thing about HF holidays is that if you are on your own, you soon settle in and make new friends.
A good choice of walks over the next week ,some were easy and medium levels of ability , along rivers and up along valleys and views of mountains. None were particularly difficult apart from the optional one, that I did on the last day using the cable car from Seefeld to take me up so far and then on to top with a bit of a scramble. A brilliant holiday with good leadership and interesting facts. A brill scheme was free local bus travel for the week using a pass. Innsbruck is very interesting to discover on free day.
