The Sea Garden Hotel is one of three hotels in one resort complex, all sharing the same site and facilities. The others are Sea Life and Sea Club. Each hotel has it’s own pool, entertainment and restaurants. Sea Garden is built inland behind the other two which are built adjacent to the beach. Facilities in all three hotels are excellent. The site is large enough to have a good walk around or within, with many footpaths running between the various buildings. Accommodation blocks are just two storeys and all the rooms seemed to be spacious and comfortably furnished, with free safes and air conditioning that you control. Restaurants display the planned menus for all three hotels every day, and tell you what theme the restaurants have planned for tomorrow. So you can pick your favourite nights like Italian, Chinese, American, etc and dine in the appropriate restaurant. We tried all three restaurants the first week and in the second week we tended to follow the menus we preferred from week one. There are several shops on site so you need not be stuck for something you have forgotten to bring with you. Prices were a little higher than in town, but not too bad. The pools were excellent. We preferred the comparative peace and quiet of Sea Garden pool, or the beach. The beach has free brollies and sun beds just like the pools. I found that if I tipped the beach attendant he always found me a good bed, and would even reserve one for me for the next day if I told him I would definitely be there. That didn’t cost me much, but he appreciated it. The Russians don’t do tips so we get the best service. During our visit the guests included several nationalities but no one was noisy or out of order. Relaxation and enjoyment was the order of the day, and the staff did their best to ensure you got all of that. The staff in restaurants and bars and pools were all great, but as always a little tip did wonders. Once we had decided where we liked to be at our pool I tipped the guy with the free towels and he looked after us for the rest of our stay. Snorkelling, or even just paddling in the shallow waters adjacent to the beach, was fantastic. The range of multi coloured fish was amazing and they just swam around your ankles, we loved it. I bought a snorkel mask in town for about £9 and it was great, but be careful, it tempts you to stay floating face down for long periods, great and enjoyable, but the back can get easily sun burned, even though the water is lapping over it the sun is fierce!
Overall great hotels, great food, free drink, alcaholic or soft drinks, free ice creams at certain times, free tea and coffee all day, free cakes at tea time on the beach or by the pool, excellent staff, the weather of course, what more do you need. Definitely can’t wait to go back.
