Scarborough Castle is an iconic landmark in the town, and as such is a must see for both tourists and locals alike. The highlight of my visit was the fantastic views of Scarborough which are absolutely stunning. The problem for me with the castle is that there isn't all that much to see and very little to keep my attention. Once you've seen the ruined castle and the walls that's about it, you need a lot of imagination to remember it as it once was. There are lots of wide open spaces, and a café, toilet, exhibition and gift shop on site.
