If you are travelling to Scarborough for a day out on the train, then you really should pop into the art gallery. The current exhibition features over fifty railway posters from the last century, and they will fascinate you, and make your journey home so much more interesting. One thing you will notice is how little the town has changed, but, of course, the fashions are so different. There are also some old bathing costumes, and a toy train that you can play with too. As well as the exhibition, there is a lot of wonderful art on show here. The gallery is situated on The Crescent, very close to the town centre. There is small entrance charge of £3 and they are closed on Mondays.
