Bistro Gourmand in Rottingdean is owned by a French man, Franck, and is my favourite restaurant in Rottingdean. I have lived here for many years. Franck is a professional chef who offers very good food, ranging from crepes to scallops to duck a la’Orange and many fish dishes. All are cooked to order by Franck – there is no ‘buying in’ of prepared dishes. The creme brulee is to die for! I have eaten here many times. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
