Reasons for trip

This holiday village resort is wonderful for the older traveller. It is peaceful, set in beautiful gardens and contains four tennis courts, three swimming pools, a mini golf course, fitness centre, holistic centre, restaurant, cafe and supermarket. The supermarket is a bit pricey, but there are four really good ones within 15 minutes drive.

Just outside the resort are three further restaurants and a nine hole golf course is just around the corner.

There is a courtesy bus which goes into Carvoeiro town from the complex three times a day. The nearest beach is a ten minute walk away.

Accommodation at the resort varies from a one bedroom apartment to three bedroom villas, most with air conditioning. The Reception is open 24/7. My husband and I have stayed here over the past eighteen years and will be back again this year. There are some lovely walks and countless great places to eat in Carvoeiro itself, not to mention the ice cream parlours!
