The Liverpool waterfront was again illuminated for the River of Light Trail. The theme was “Rhythm of the Light” – artwork inspired by the city’s musical heritage. Many of the installations were accompanied by a soundtrack. They were definitely awe-inspiring.

The event was held on 14 nights and was in various locations – by the historic Town Hall, the Royal Albert Dock area and the iconic waterfront itself. The evening we visited was popular with families but not too crowded. We will certainly attend this event when it is next on.
