Ritch Grissom according to what to do in Melbourne Florida is their No 1 attraction. As a result we took a visit. Firstly its free! So for a free attraction it's well worth a visit if you have a hour to spare and love to see Florida bird life. You can park and walk round the reserve or actually drive round. It is in fact an old water treatment works which 20 years ago was turned into a nature reserve. The reserve is stocked with wetland and marsh birds, in particular storks, spoonbills, ibis, waterfowl just on the outskirts of Melbourne Florida. In addition if have never seen so many alligators. We were lucky to see an Alligator catch and eat a wild fowl (in the wild).

Do not expect the works but as a free attraction on the outskirts of a city is worth a visit., if you like nature and have an hour to spare on the Space Coast. For example the restrooms are 2 porta loos.
