We stayed here in October 2012, and the weather was just right for us. Not too hot or cool. During the day it was around 30C and sunny. The evenings were mainly cool, but one night there was a strong wind which made eating in essential. The staff welcomed us by sending us to the bar for a welcome drink of our choice. When we had enjoyed it, our suitcases were in our room, and we were shown how everything worked. The bed was huge, and there was also a lounger seat/bed by a window looking out to the sea. This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It was comfortable, and relaxed, and the staff were second to none. Always polite and very helpful. My husbands suitcase was 'lost' in transit by BA and the hotel offered their own phone chargers so we could keep the phone going, and provided the essential toiletries needed that were still in London. The hotel is on the edge of town and therefore very quiet. You could walk down hill to the beach, but this took about 12 minutes. And one day, we walked the length of the promenade. This took us an hour and half, walking on the waters edge in the warm sun. Very nice beach – fine sand – and no big waves. The food in this hotel was excellent. We wanted Moroccan cuisine, and it was on the menu, but also, there were European dishes for those who may not like spicy food. Some of the best meals we have enjoyed in continental holiday resorts. We would recommend this hotel with no reservations at all.
