RHS Wisley is a must visit for garden and plant enthusiasts of all ages. There are regular events, talks and activities for families and those looking to expand their horticultural knowledge.
The terrain is hilly and uneven in places but they have a mobility car that runs around the park for those who might need the service. I am not sure how you book the service, so it is worth looking at their website beforehand. It is well worth it as there is so much to see and the views are amazing, especially during Autumn.
There are plenty of eateries around the park and a coffee shop that is free to the public. The herbs, vegetables and fruit grown on site are used in their cooking. Although the food is slightly on the expensive side, I could not fault it. If you prefer, there is a nice picnic space and other nice little spots near the lakes to enjoy a packed-lunch.
If you see any plants that catch your eye, you can purchase some from the small garden centre. There is also a shop, which stocks a wide range of books, seasonal goods, stationery and gifts.
