Spent a couple of days down in Bideford so we could visit Rosemoor, although one day would have done. Gardens are quite a bit smaller than Wisley and do not have the same wow factor, although the time of year could be one of the reasons.
It is still a lovely day out with quite a bit to see including, the Queen Mothers Rose Garden lovely but would be better to see in June or July when the flowers are at there best. Also the fruit and veg is well worth seeing, other than that we were underwhelmed, visited the restaurant for coffee very nice but took ages to make two coffees due to not enough staff.
Shop very similar to Wisley but garden shop much smaller, toilets very nice and clean, tea shop not impressed small and no choice.
