Whilst staying in Rhodes, we did many trips on the water, and one of them was from Rhodes town to Lindos. When you walk around the seafront, where the boats are moored up, there are various places you can buy boat trips. We chose a day trip to Lindos. It left early in the morning, and followed the coast of Rhodes down to Lindos.
It was a warm day, so we found a seat under a canopy, but seated on the deck.
The trip to Lindos would take two hours each way, but because we love being out on the water, it was lovely. The sea was fairly calm too, so a bonus!
You could buy drinks and icecream on board, so that was a treat. We enjoyed looking at the scenery of Rhodes. Being such a larger island than many we’ve visited. It’s strange how each Greek island is so different.
After 2hours, we moored yo at Lindos. It looked a pretty little town, with a steep road winding through. We decided to enjoy the sandy beach, and to hire sun beds, and lie in the gorgeous sun.
There were tavernas on the beach, serving lunch and we took advantage of this.
We had about four hours in Lindos, before catching the boat back.
On the way back to Rhodes Town , it stopped off so that we could swim off the boat. Very refreshing!
It was a lovely relaxing day, and would certainly do it again.
