The Red Lion Inn is a traditional Inn dating from the 1780s. It is of a very good standard with excellent food. Stockbridge is well placed for a visit to The Norman Rockwell Museum. He was well known for his folksie paintings of America which featured on the cover of The Saturday Evening Post for many years. The outlet Mall at Lee is close by with many bargains. There are also good opportunities for golf in the area. The Inn is a good base for further exploring Western Massachusetts and into New York State.
