We decided to take a quick trip up to Robin Hood’s bay this weekend and booked the Grosvenor hotel in Robin Hood’s Bay North Yorkshire. It was extremely good value and I wasn’t expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was newly decorated and the bathroom had also been refurbished . Breakfast consisted of fruit juice, cereals, fruit and a selection of hot breakfast items. If you so desired you could even have smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast. The hotel doesn’t have a car park but there is a large council run car park across the road. It was £7.20 for 24 hours. The hotel is situated at the top of Robin Hoods bay and there is a regular bus into Whitby. The beach is at the bottom of a very steep road and isn’t really that suitable for people with mobility problems. I would definitely stay there again
