We booked this cottage as a last minute deal for a bargain price and we were pleasantly surprised with what we got. Our cottage was located on a former farm and had been converted from a barn. The track to get the cottage is a bit hazardous but that was the only negative for us. The farm is perched high in the Carmarthenshire countryside with a number of adjoining cottages. The Views were simply stunning and we had our own hot tub to enjoy them from. Sitting in the hot tub became a real highlight for us and my hubby has been hankering after one ever since! The Farm has a pretty unusual feature in that there are about twenty peacocks roaming around. They can be pretty noisy but we really enjoyed watching the males display their feathers. The cottage had a mezzanine balcony and was superbly finished throughout. We were just a ten minute drive from the viillage pub, and a 15 minute drive from the beautiful town of Carmarthen. There was lots to see and do in the surrounding area and we would love to go back!
