As normal, a typical Premier Inn, nice room, good comfy bed, choice of pillows, large wall mounted TV with most Freeview channels. This one is in a particularly good position, just across the road from Weymouth's Greenhill beach and next door to Lodmoor Country Park with its varied attractions. Car park is Pay and Display but free to guests. However, our first Impression of the room was quite poor, firstly a long walk from reception up to the 2nd floor and along a long corridor – in the high numbers – 90s, on entering the room, at 6pm, it was in darkness (curtain pulled) and freezing – a fan was on despite it not being a particularly hot day and when we opened the curtain, the window was open. WHY? Only 1 Sachet of coffee per person, but I'm sure if we'd have asked more would have been given. The vending machine in reception for drinks and snacks was out of order and no local shops. Breakfast is served in the Brewer's Fayre restaurant next door, which means getting wet as there is no covered connection. We were also unfortunate to be in the only part of the hotel that has a 3rd floor (rooms 98 to 108) and late at night we were disturbed by a herd of elephants in the room above, followed by really loud music at 5.30am from the same room, we were not the only guests to complain. Despite this I recommend this Premier Inn and we will be returning, different room though.
