4 of us had a wonderful weekend in Oxford. As all seniors and had our bus passes stayed at a Travel Lodge on the outskirts of Oxford and travelled in daily by the curtesy bus. Great rate at the hotel in January food of good quality in the restaurant on the first night near the hotel.
The Morse Experience great walking around Oxford with a great guide who told us all about the making of Morse/Lewis/Endeavour they had been an extra. Going into two or three of the university buildings. One of the chapels was beautiful. With a wonderful walking tour around the city. Had a drink in the hotel bar prior to starting the tour which took a few hours but it was well worth it. Would recommend this walking tour especially if your are a Morse/Lewis or Endeavour fan.
