As I was walking up to the front doors of this hotel a plane screamed down onto the runway yards behind me and I wondered if I'd made a huge mistake booking here for our pre flight stay. I shouldn't have worried though, once the doors had closed the world outside was locked out and I never heard a plane again until I left the following morning. It's the usual set up in the rooms, very comfortable and a good nights sleep. What's different is the size of the place overall. Very big and airy, with a very nice Thyme restaurant and a Costa to give you that caffeine fix. We ate in the restaurant and it was a very nice, tasty meal. The stand out thing here is the staff, very polite and extremely helpful, regularly checking at each contact point that we were enjoying our stay. They were very helpful in making sure we had an appropriate and adjacent room for my Mother in Law who has mobility issues. Highly recommended.
