This is a large building on the eastern edge of Elgin. We were given a warm welcome by the receptionist. Premier Inn staff are good. We are given a room on the first floor and she kindly took the suitcase upstairs for us as there is no lift. The room faced the main road, so there was a lot of traffic noise if we left the window open.
It was a typical Premier Inn room, although there was no spare bed/couch, so the suitcase had to go on the floor. There was only one easy chair provided.
The bed was comfortable and there was a choice of hard and soft pillow. The shower was excellent.
The receptionist booked a table for us in the Linkwood lodge, the Brewer’s Fayre pub next to the Premier Inn and asked for feedback on the meal when we got back.
We have used premier Inns many times in the past and have found their standards to be high. This was no exception. Full price, it isn't cheap but is a convenient situation on the outskirts of Elgin and there is plenty of parking on site.
