You can’t go to the seaside and not have fish and chips…

The fish and chip shop in Port Erin serves some of the best fried fish I’ve tasted for a long time. The batter is crispy and not at all greasy and the fish is so fresh. The chips are pretty good too.

Either eat in – it has a small attractive restaurant as well as a take away next door. It is popular with locals (who know a good thing) as well as visitors. Portion sizes are good (the small cod and chips filled my plate and me too) and prices are reasonable.
