Reasons for trip

Personal / family celebration

We first found this hotel by chance back in the 70's and have been going back (sometimes twice a year) ever since then, we have recommended it to family and friends, who have also become regulars there. It is not a hotel where you need to dress up too much, but you can if you like to, there is live entertainment for all ages daytime and every evening with an easy to see board, showing the highlights, Tony has BBQ'S on the beach fr familes and even a late night one for anybody looking for a midnight feast. The sea view bedrooms have twin or double options, so a family can have the children close by in single or bunk beds and the bathrooms are close to hand – so you have your own suit of rooms, that also have a balcony with the most wonderful sea views too. There is plenty of free car parking in the hotel car park. The hotel also has an indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. Fot anyone who like to have a hair do on holiday, there is a hairdressers in the hotel reception area. We have to book up well in advance to get a sea view room, but it is worth it. There are country view rooms, just as nice or for anyone on a budget, there are smaller rooms in the anex, just out the front of the hotel – that feels like the back, as the main view is the sea on the other side of the hotel. The hotel does have a lift however it is only set over 4 floors. See the hotel web site for more info www.ponsmere.co.uk
