My husband and I went on a med cruise Sep, we return to P&O cruises because we love the classy decor and lifts ,foyer on the Oceana ship,we love the cabin, choosing a balcony so we can look out to sea, one shore trip we did was to Venice, tips we learnt ,there are vans which sell proseco and snacks, these are much better value whilst you wander around , we made the mistake of taking a seat in the square area, there’s a £6 a piece charge just for sitting down, orchestras were playing at each outdoor restaurant do if you budget for it, it would be a treat. It was very very busy in venice, the water did not smell , it was like a spaghetti junction on the waters leading to it,so many boats ! Well worth a visit, the gondalas were many and they take you down the little waterways of Venice and also out further ,again expensive . I liked the shop’s unique jewellery and party mosques ,lovely, I’d like to go again but with more money!
