If you ever get to Guernsey a visit to and a ride on “Victor” – named after the island’s author Victor Hogo – is an absolute must. He’ll take you around Fermain Bay, where he does a very tight turn, back into the town St. Peter Port, past the Parish church, up and down through the town and along the harbour with a running commentary which gives you an informative, entertaining and interesting introduction to the port.
Known as the Petit Train he can be found at Albert Pier from Easter through to October and he is the only tourist train to be found on this glorious island.
Enjoy the ride!
