We went to this hotel in February this year and what a lovely hotel, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was amazing, everything you could ask for and more. We always sat outside for breakfast, watched the eagle chasing away any birds that dared to come down to pinch your food. The pools are lovely, my husband even went into the sea from the hotel’s steps. Loved the ambiance of the hotel which is in a lovely position. Rooms very nice and clean. There is some lovely walks, we walked from the hotel all the way to the famous enough fishing village and once there we had a poncha, or two, it’s their local drink. The only downside to Madeira is those pesky timeshare people, but Madeira is such a lovely place can’t wait to go back.
