The location is absolutely great being much nearer the centre of Funchal than most other hotels….as with all Pestana hotels the staff know exactly what is expected of them and they deliver it all the time and every time. Since it was the original hotel in the group it was becoming a little tired but close personal attention has now been given to it with the result that it is a real star in the Pestana and Madeira horizon ticking all the relevant boxes.
