This is a huge building built on the hillside above Woody Harbour but to be honest, we didn’t think there was a lot in it. There was a huge display all about global warming. We are skeptics. Other displays about the fauna, flora and geology of Gros Morne National Park were very superficial and there was little solid information. There were few staff around and although pleasant and willing to help they were not very knowledgeable. We were far from impressed and felt it did not live up to the standard of other Parks Canada sites.
It did however, have a good selection of postcards, the best we had seen in Newfoundland. The shop did not seem to have the range of books and gifts found in the Information Centre in Rocky Harbour.
It is free I can't rate value for money. Value for time invested was poor.
