Reasons for trip

Visited the pantheon in rome and were very impressed with the way this building has been turned into a basilica. The outside has been left innits former glory with columns standing tal, but inside is a very bright and beautifully designed basilica. So much to see its difficult to take it all in. But lovely to spend quiet time in front of one of the altars and light candles in memory of the dearly departed.

I was very surprised and delightedg when I entered this building not expecting tomfind what was there and I am sure many others will also be in the future. If visiting rome please try and visit if you have not already seen this. Entry is free as it is church, but donations are welcomed.
