….if you want to try something new and are a bit adventuresome consider India….and after reading the “bibles” of the sub-continents travel world….Lonely Planet and Rough Guide… and decide to take the bull by the horns please do consider the easy introduction into a diffucult but wonderful country……the beginners India is Goa…..its safe, used to tourists and has a great transport hub allowing easy onward travel… after a bit sampling its great food and beaches …avoid the crowded North and discover Palm Grove Cottages in Benaulim….it’s wonderfully unique…..,around 20 rooms in 3 price ranges set in a wondeful peaceful gardens… deservely recommended in all guide books it is a vey special place …prices range from around 20 to 40 pounds per night per room…….it is owned by a delightful local family with great honest staff…..no package holidays …book via there web site….no credit cards…we have used it for years.
