We visited this attraction because it was raining, but there is also plenty to see outdoors on a fine day including the steam train on Thursdays. The museum includes just about anything you can think of, and brings back so many memories of one’s childhood. The museum also caters for children, and is fully accessible for those with mobility problems with a large ramp taking you up to the first floor gallery. The toilets, including the disabled toilet are actually located on the railway platform. One downside was the lack of a decent cup of tea. The highlight for us however was the old Compton Theatre organ. Apparently this had just been restored, and the chap putting it through its paces had an endless repertoire. We could have listened to him for hours.
