A hidden gem in an East Devon village, Otterton Mill is an historic working water mill producing various types of flour from locally sourced grain. Entrance is free, and on milling days you can enjoy the sights and sounds of traditional milling and chat to the friendly team of millers. The flour is on sale in the mill shop, along with fresh bread and bakery products baked on site, plus local vegetables, fruit, preserves, dairy produce, beers, wines and ciders. There is also a craft and gift shop on site, and a cafe/restaurant where you can enjoy lunch or a snack. It’s a very popular spot with locals, hikers and dog walkers, and there are also special events and music evenings.
