I visited the national Football Museum in it's new home in Manchester shortly after it had opened. It captures your interest from the moment you enter.
The tableau's and displays are very well laid out. Plenty of film archives including a very moving montage about tragedies in football including Ibrox, Hillsborough and Bradford.
There is so many nostalgic memories for someone of my age who's been going to football since I was 4 years old – including the much missed rattle!
There are a lot of interactive activities for children, although during our visit they appeared to be enjoyed more by the dads and grandads.
For a free activity for football fans it's a very enjoyable and nostalgic experience for fans of the beautiful game.
