In September 2017 I went on a cruise aboard the MS Michelangelo owned ad operated by CroisiEurope although my holiday was organized by Travelsphere. The boat is very comfortable with all meals and drinks (with a few expensive exceptions) free! The food was excellent as was the service by all the crew. The cabins, although small, were adequate and comfortable for the 4 nights spent aboard.
The holiday organised by Travelsphere included all the available trips although, I understand, those that had booked via CroisiEurope or Jules Verne had to pay separately for all or some of the excursions as an option.
Travelsphere are an excellent company to travel with and communications with them was excellent although they could have advised that there is considerable walking required on some of the excursions that the elderly and/or mobility restricted may find difficult. It was not so much the distances required but the need to keep up with the group over the many bridges in Venice!
I particularly enjoyed the excursions to the Doges Palace and mask making workshop in Venice and the trip to Murano to see the glass works. All in all a wonderful introduction to Venice and very good value for money. I am considering returning but book via CroisiEurope direct and not booking the optional excursions to take advantage of the very reasonable cost of board and lodgings but explore Venice at my own pace.
