The Mercer is a lovely little gallery, which is well worth a visit. What I like about The Mercer is that every time they have a new exhibition, it fills the whole gallery, meaning that it's different every time I visit. The current exhibition "All dressed up" is on till 7 July 2013, and is fabulous. It features lots of WP Friths, one of my all-time favourite artists, and some great works of art by GF Watts and Dame Laura Knight. The gallery is free to get in, and is in the centre of Harrogate, and is recommended wholeheartedly.
