Lympstone Manor has recently been opened by Michael Caine and having experienced his food before at Gidleigh Park we were keen to try his new venture – it definitely did not disappoint. We went for lunch to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and the whole experience was a celebration from beginning to end. Michael was there to greet us and the other guests for lunch whilst we had pre-drinks in the bar/lounge area in simply sumptuous surroundings. The decor is modern yet complimentary to the lovely old building with real ‘wow’ factor. There are several dining rooms, and the one we went into was similarly ‘wow’ with wonderful chandelier and decor. The food was out of this world – when we booked we intended to have the £55 pp lunch but decided to push the boat out and have the £115 pp a la carte – and what a meal it was, absolutely perfect in every respect, wonderful flavours, presentation, and service. This is top notch dining at a top notch price, but worth it!
