We were tempted to visit this hotel with an offer from Groupon. We had been some years ago and found the food very good but the hotel poor. Nothing has changed. We were given a room three floor up with no offer of help with our luggage. The room was basic and not as cleen as we would have liked. But we did not come here for the room we came for the 7 course taster menu. Well we stared at 7.30 and at 10 pm we gave up on waiting for coffee and went tobed. Each course was lovely, small, but beautifully cooked bot the wait between courses was far too long. My husband opted to have the wine with each course and reconed he had half a bottle's worth. Expensive at £25 a head. This hotel need some serious money spent on it and the receptionist needs to sharpen up on her people skills. She was very rude when I tried to book out. We will not be back.
