Delightful restful hotel beside beautiful bubbling waters. Wander the gardens amid the daffodils and listen to the birdsong as the mist clears from the mountains. The twisty road to the hotel tests driver skills (passing places aplenty) and the bridges allow a glimpse of tumbling waters. Accommodation varies, single, twin / double and family rooms are spacious, lifts for the less mobile to them. Evening entertainment has a Scottish flavour, best to be prepared to join in for maximum enjoyment. All staff are friendly and courteous and breakfasts are generous and evening choices likewise. Special diets can be catered for, best inform staff early, not at the mealtime.
WiFi is available but the setting can mean some interruption to reception, my device worked best on the ground floor in the comfortable lounge area.
One point of warning, daily papers are not available, drive to Town (Pitlochry half an hour away) or download on devices, and best to bring your preferred toiletries if you have allergies or irritations. Unusually for all hotels these days, towels were changed daily, a lovely touch of consideration. Looking forward to a return trip to take more walks and explore further.
