A lovely restaurant opened up in Wyoming in June 2020 despite the covid shut down happening at the time. In this case, Wyoming is the small town in southwestern Ontario, not the state in the USA. They operated with take out at first and have finally been able to open up for dine in recently. “Loca”:https://www.locafarmtotable.com/ is a farm to table restaurant and the website lists all the local suppliers used.
We had the pleasure of trying their menu for take-out – hence the photos in take-out containers. We both had the bison burger (seasoned & grilled all bison patty, caramelized onions, “monster” cheese, tangy relish and creamy Dijon on toasted brioche bun) and chose the potato salad with dill adorned with edible flowers for our sides. For our sweets we differed: one had the stout chocolate cake with cream cheese icing and one had the rhubarb and mixed berry crumble with vanilla ice cream. They have lovely salads and sandwiches and we look forward to trying their entrées and Sunday brunch now that we can have inside dining (and hopefully we won’t be locked down again).
They are open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and closed Mondays and Tuesdays. There are two tables on the small patio at the front as well as the many tables inside. I have my eye on an elderflower cocktail the first time we can go for a meal inside.
