25,000 people joined in the march at the Liverpool Gay Pride Festival in July 2024. It was a record-breaking crowd and the largest of its kind in the UK. It was a fun occasion, full of rainbow colour and music. As you can see by the photos, a lot of attention went into making the costumes, so of course the participants loved having their photos taken. There was a range of activities happening across the weekend with both ticketed and free events taking place. For example, there were local acts performing at the Pier Head and a 32-piece orchestra at the Albert Dock.
It was a dazzling event for all the family and a lot of fun!
