We stayed here for three nights in July, on a coach trip. The hotel is very central, and really handy for Lime Street railway station. The rooms are fine, but for me the excellent staff made our stay extra special. Several of them went out of our way to help us, including the concierge, reception staff, and the maintenance manager who came and fixed a broken lamp for us.
The breakfasts were very good, with a wide selection, and even an egg chef who cooked fresh eggs and omelettes to order.
My only gripe was that the evening meals were pretty average, but to be fair, we were a coach party, and budgets had to be met. After two nights of poor food, we decided to eat out on our final evening in Liverpool.
Overall though, this is a very good hotel.
