This hotel is part of a German chain hence many German families visit the hotel. Although a family hotel with excellent children’s centre and small pool we didn’t have any problem as an over 60s couple, and didn’t find it a problem. The hotel was exceptionally clean and efficiently run. The pool was excellent and plenty of sunbeds for all. We had a ground floor room and sunbeds can be place right outside your terrace area. Beautiful gardens to enjoy. We didn’t try the spa. The Golf course is not part of the hotel but next door and although we didn’t play I understand that there is transport from the hotel to the course. There are some downsides to be aware of however, the main one being location. You cannot see the sea from the hotel and although they say it is a short walk to the coast this is severely downhill – we didn’t even want to try it! There is a bus stop outside but we were advise not to bother as it was so erratic. We took a taxi into Palma – a short ride and not expensive. We also went by taxi to the harbour at Porals Nous – far too far to walk unless you are fit, once there there are good restaurants. So the hotel is rather isolated unless you go out by car/taxi, and there is nowhere close to walk to other than a roundabout with a supermarket and a couple of cafes. The hotel poolside restaurant seemed to serve most things deep fried which didn’t suit us and the main restaurant wasn’t exciting. Excellent bar that stays open late, and excellent breakfasts.
