We booked through hotels.com and on the booking form it said "apartment with fully furnished balcony". When we arrived we were given an "attic" apartment with no proper window, just two skylights and NO balcony. We complained and were told that the apartments with balcony were more expensive and in any event they were all fully booked. The apartment was clean and adequately furnished BUT having no window was pretty awful. Also the apartment was up 5 flights of stairs wiht no lift so it is just as well that my hisband and I are quite fit. We have complained to hotels.com but still await a reply. This is the only accommodation in this village apart from one hotel (fully booked) and some gites which are often too expensive for two people, so it is a great shame that we were so disappointed.
