Reasons for trip

Lanzarote is part of the Canary Islands, which are the nearest destination to the UK for reliable hot winter sun, but just be aware swimming in the sea is a little ‘fresh’ in January/February. This is not a problem as hotels and villas will have their own pools or one for the complex.

Lanzarote holds all kinds of treasures: the beautiful architecture and sculptures of Cesar Manrique, historical sites to visit, walking trails, sailing opportunities, artistic workshops, outdoor markets and festivals – it is a great destination for adults, with plenty to do.
