What amazing views; a steep switchback coastal path along this RSPB reserve. The sea is turquoise way below and with the contrast of the red sandstone cliffs it doesn't feel like England at all! The rare cirl bunting bird is easily found here; it likes the hedges and scub. There are gigantic dinner-plate sized (edible) horse-mushrooms in the fields. Park at the Labrador Bay carpark on the coast road (small charge). A splendid round walk would be from Stokeinteignhead village along the green lane to Labrador Bay then coast path to Maidencombe village then lane back to start.
