Me, my husband and our 19 years old daughter, spent a week in October at Casa vacanze La Mucchia in Cortona, (Under the Tuscan Sun”) Tuscany. It exceeded even our highest expectations! Quirina, one of the owners, came to meet us upon our arrival, we got lost coming into Camucia , and she came and personally escorted us to the vacation farmhouse hotel. She showed us where the supermarket is, gave us a map and highlighted the various excursions we should think about which helped us immediately find our way alone. We at all times knew she was a phone call or an e-mail away whenever we had a questions about our journeys!
The stone house itself: Casa Vacanze La Mucchia , old medieval structure, is lovely, effortlessly clean and very warm and hospitable, and it was roomy and comfortable with complete privacy for us and for our daughter.
I would extremely recommend staying there without hesitation.
