La Grande Roche, a French Farmhouse, set in acres of wooded grounds with large well stocked lake with fishing rights. Situated near to the village, only five minutes by car to the supermarket for supplies. The accommodation was comfortable, large kitchen, two family rooms, and four double bedrooms, and a large attic room suitable for a family.
Bedding and towels were hired separately , or you could of course bring your own.
The owner lived on site and was most helpful, especially arranging fishing and offerring advice and suggesting where to visit locally.
This is an ideal place for adults or older children who just want to fish or relax. But too far from the sea and attractions for younger children.
