On a recent solo trip to Korcula in Croatia I had 2 wonderful trips with Korcula Explorers. This is a small company run by a young British couple resident on the island. I did the walking and wine evening tour and a olive oil discovery day. There are cycling, boat, cookery tours, things for different interest and fitness! Sitting by a remote old stone farmhouse surrounded by olive trees sampling olive oils, eating wonderful food and drinking the local wine I thought I had died and gone to heaven! Korcula Explorers show one the working living side of the island which one was privileged to experience, it is informative and great fun and I cannot wait to return and do some more of their wonderful trips. Korcula is a beautiful, friendly and enchanting island with fascinating history and wonderful food and wine and swimming in clear clean water.
