Kiltevna, like a number of other B&Bs in this part of town, is a few minutes walk to the beach and the Celia Griffin Memorial Park; 10 minutes to Galway town cente (or 15-20 minutes if you walk along the coast road) and 15 minutes to Salthill – as an alternative eating/recreation area to Galway city centre. My single room, though compact, was clean and well fitted. There are also twin and family rooms, all fitted to the same standard. En-suite shower room in my single was compact but modern, fully tiled. Always had hot water when required, though the shower pressure was on the low side. Bernadette’s breakfasts offered a choice of cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Cooked breakfast including the full Irish. There was a small TV in my room, and the breakfast room and conservatory are also available to guests.
