I was lucky enough to be taken to Kaspar`s Seafood bar inside the Savoy recently, and what an absolute treat it was.
Firstly the Savoy is deliciously decedent anyway with its wow factor entrance, baby grand piano and magnificent chandeliers.
Then comes the wonderful service which really is second to none, the waitress was very helpful with explaining dishes too.
We choose from a set menu of three choices of starter, main and dessert. This had a price of £32.99 per person.
Wine, side dishes and coffee were extra but bottled water was included. To be honest I have paid more in much less beautiful places.
I chose a salad for a starter, cod with mussels for main, and berry and cream pot for dessert.
It was all small and exquisite.
I loved the whole experience and would recommend it, it was really special and much better value than the over priced afternoon tea at the Savoy.
