This was very well organised, the seating was comfortable, the lunch was delicious and the staff were attentive and very pleasant. However, perhaps we should have thought about it ourselves but it didn’t occur to us, that leaving Victoria Station, for at least the first half of the two and a half hour journey we were treated to views of goods yards, then peoples back gardens, then peoles front gardens. And when we did exit into the countryside we could hardly see the fields for all the bushes and trees growing along the ralway track! Of course the same was in reverse on the return journey. We were very happy with the service , but very disappointed with the available views which we had been looking forward to having been sold a journey through the Garden of England where I once lived.
